Guess who went out this weekend? Me me me! On Saturday, I was at the Colours and Grey Bloggers Forum, a networking event hosted by Alice Temitope Dako. The venue for the event was Capital Square in Dolphin Estate. If you’re looking for a visually pleasing shared workspace, check out CapSqr!
Now, this event had Tayo Afolabi (MD, World PR) and Deola Adebiyi (Chief Content Creator, Omoge Mura) as guest speakers. Two things I learned from this event: Your personal brand is as important as your blog brand and Consistency is king!
I was too busy listening to take pictures of the guest speakers, but here are pictures from the Colours and Grey Instagram page!
I met really fun people behind interesting blogs including Tosin Toge, iModelAfrica etc…

I also got a can of Mamba, but it did not survive long enough for me to take the picture. *burp* I also won a lovely iro and buba, guess who is ready for independence day?!

My weekend continued with a visit to Valerie, the sweet. She fed me the yummiest pasta. P.S. Be grateful for friends that are still willing to feed you in this recession. 😁😂 Valerie has a new post up on her blog!
This weekend came to a very very awesome close, because my application to #BBNWonderland was accepted! Thanks to BellaNaija and Baileys Nigeria, I’m looking forward to a fun fun weekend. I am so excited for this coming weekend! Right now, I desperately need 2 things, a dress fit for a goddess and a Little White Dress. Do you know where I can get these dresses at affordable prices? Show me where! I’ll probably record my first vlog at BBN Wonderland. Should I? Have a fun-filled week guys and please, #HelpTheAlaroroFindADress!
