Dream catchers and vision runners!
I am so excited about this, because my current space does not allow me to be free with magazines, scissors e.t.c… So, since I am at work early everyday, why not channel the free time before work starts into something productive?
You have and you have a view of what you want to achieve this year, right? Let’s get into it!
Step 1: Find images that speak to every single goal in every category or role that you have set. For free images? Go to Pixabay.com (Dear Blogger, this is a great place to get free stock images. You should not just take images off Google/Pinterest. Look for images you can use for free and Pixabay is a great place!).
Step 2: Log on to Canva or Create an Account, if you do not have one. Visit www.canva.com and sign up or sign in.
Step 3: This is your dashboard. See the arrow in the image below? Click the + sign to view the various design templates that Canva offers.
Step 4: You see all the awesome templates you can use to create amazing designs? Canva is a wonderful space. For our Vision Board, we will be using the Presentation template. See the arrow below.
Step 5: This is your blank canvas. Know your icons.
See where the arrow below is pointing? This shows you the default Layouts that Canva offers, both free and paid!
The image below shows you the Elements icon – There are Free Photos, Grids and Frames for photos, Shapes, Lines, Illustrations, Icons, Charts and I love Canva icons. So amazing!
Next, we have Text options. Headings, Subheadings and little bitty texts!
The different kinds of Backgrounds you can have – Colours, Patterns e.t.c
Lastly, this might just be the most important section for us: Uploads. This is where we drop all our pictures.
Step 7: Drag your images and place them however you want on the Canva canvas! You can also add text to your Vision Board
Step 8: View your vision board in full screen! It looks so powerful that way.
Your vision board is ready!!!
So, what do you do next?
- Save it on your phone, tab, everywhere
- Make it your wallpaper
- Print it out
- Run with it!!! Habakkuk 2:2
