Hello You, *big hug*
Welcome to October!!!
I wish above all things that this month brings you fulfillment and joy! Walk with me as we take a recap of My September to Remember!
My fav aunt in the whole world, my second mama, a friend and a teacher got married this month (and on her birthday!). The joy that fills my heart knowing that she is happy and content in her decision!
I started Driving Classes! Can you believe it? I’ve been putting this off for yearsssssss, guys. In my dad’s house, I had so many options to learn and I never did. I’m paying for it now (literally), but
it has been fun!
This month, Husband Guy and I went out of our cooking comfort zones a little – He made a dope pot of Afang (with proper obstacles) and I cooked Basmati Fried Rice that turned out so great! I used Sisi Jemimah’s recipe.
In the month of September, I started the book Fervent: A Woman’s Battle Plan to Serious, Specific and Strategic Prayer written by Priscilla Shirer (Remember War Room?).
I’ve been reading this with someone on my IG and we catch up weekly – missed this week because…
My Phone gave up. P.S. That phone was a hand-me-down iPhone 5 and it has served 4 owners! Apple products for the win! Something good came out of this though, but that’s an October testimony! *huge grin*
I took a step further in my adult church life – I started the Discipleship Training Institute at my church – This Present House. Tomorrow’s class will be the 3rd of the session and I’m very excited about it. It feels so good to relearn what you think you know – don’t get comfortable. Quick Quiz: How many jars of water did Jesus ask the servants to fill at the Wedding of Cana?
On the Blog:
- We had the CEO of Sherry Organics as our guest on The Hustle Continues with a giveaway!
- I made a mistake and scheduled two posts for the same day (tears) – this super cute White Shift dress and my plans for the month of September.
- I wrote a recap of my first step to becoming a hotshot tailor/fashion designer and I talked about my visit to Miniso and what I bought (shopaholic woes!)
- I also shared from my heart about overcoming anxiety over work, worth and other worries.
I hope you enjoyed my recap for the month of September – P.S. All those big bold purple words are links to great content – click ’em.
Tell me about your month in the comments. I love to read your thoughts on what I share.
I wish you a beautiful October.
Love and Light always,
