Let There Be Light

…and there was light!

Hi Guys,

Before I started working, I used to judge my aunts for always bringing stuff home that they bought in the office. My colleague is selling this, my colleague is selling that…

I was so sure I would never buy anything in the office – I would never succumb to that pressure to buy everything.

Anyway, I succumb every other month and this is one of the best things I bought in recent times.

Lontor Rechargeable LED Emergency Bulb

Wait. What? This is not a Fashion or Beauty Item. So, why am I talking about it?

When your Minister of Magic (*side-eye*) appears to be silent on certain matters of importance, it is only fair that you take matters into your own hands!

The Lontor Rechargeable LED Emergency Bulb comes with a remote control and an easy guide (I think that’s what the paper is…)

How does it work?

It is a pin-mouth bulb that you connect like any regular bulb charges when there is power and you can turn it on when the power goes off. The major benefit of this bulb is this – there is no how you can forget to charge it. It is pinned in to the lampholder like your regular bulb and once there’s power, it’s charging!

So, we fixed this in the bathroom and it charges when there is power.

Tips for using this bulb

  • Be energy conscious. Always turn it off when you’re not in there.
  • It does not turn off with the regular switch – you need the remote control.
  • Keep the remote control in a fixed place. Well, this does not really matter. You can use any other remote control to control it.

I got it for N1,200 from a Direct Sales Agent, you can get it online here, here and here.

So, what have you bought in recent times that is helping you in this dire times?
