Good Morning all forms of royalty all over the world…
Yes, you. You are royalty!
You know we are all about saving more, spending less and earning more here on The Alaroro Blog, abi? Imagine my shock (lol!) when I discovered this shocking device on the interwebs?!
What device is this?
The PAVLOK (Is that like padlock pronunciation for babies? I think they need to fix the name, please.)
What is the PAVLOK? 340 volts of wearable power to shock yourself out of bad habits. Like literally zap yourself out of bad habits. I have so many questions about this? Will one die? What if one dies? What if one is hurt forever?
Anyway, this is not why we are here… A British company has teamed up with Pavlok, to help detect overspending in ya bank account and trigger the device (read: shock you!) when users are spending too much money.
- Will financial institutions really let you link this device to your account? Maybe in the abroad…
- How much is too much money?
- Will it zap you if someone is trying to steal from your account and crosses the spending threshold?! OMG. All these zaps!
- Can you customize these zaps? Like, Zap me if I mistakenly enter Coldstone abeg…
The official website for PAVLOK says: It is designed to stop your brain from desiring and craving any unwanted bad habits such as overeating, procrastination etc, the Pavlok allows you to speak your reptile brain’s language by adding an unpleasant element (a safe and harmless ‘zap’ of electricity on your wrist) to what you have been taught to love (your nasty lingering habit) by conditioning your mind to associate an “unpleasant” feeling with your bad habit… and stopping it all together.
Simply put, pavlovian conditioning on your wrists! Check out their new project called The Shock Clock here
Are you willing to shock yourself to break your spending habit(s)? Especially if this kind goeth not out by prayer alone?
Watch this:
It costs about $250. Do you think it is worth it?
